Alexandra Blank, Ph.D. student

Alexandra is pursuing a research in applied optomechanics-on-fiber engineering.
Previously, she obtained B.Sc., M.Sc. from South Ural State University (Russia), Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude (2006) and PhD in Mechanical Engineering, South Ural State University (Russia) (2009).
She has also worked as researcher at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Be'er-Sheva, Israel (2015-2016).

Dima Apter, M.Sc. student

Dima received B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University in 2011.
Current position: R&D mechanical engineer at Applied Materials.

Dr. Vijay Kumar

Dr. Vijay Kumar was a Postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tel Aviv University.

He received his PhD from the Department of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India. During his PhD, he dealt with wetting behavior of semiconductor materials for electro wetting on dielectric (EWOD) application.

His research related to investigating nano-materials for use as MEMS/NEMS based sensors in various potential applications.
